Filing a report is a serious step that can have significant repercussions on the persons concerned.
When filing a report, the whistleblower reports the facts of which he or she has knowledge of and transmits any information or other useful document, regardless of their form.
The admissibility of the report is evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Is the situation prejudicial?
- Does the situation presented characterize a violation of the French law? Does it violate the Paris 2024 Code of Ethics? Is it a threat to the public interest?
- Does the report include documented elements (photo, document, video, etc.)?
- Is the report selfless and in good faith?
- Has the author of the report personally been a victim or witness of the facts reported?
If the whistleblower has reason to fear that revealing his or her identity would be detrimental, he or she may report anonymously. In this case, the report:
- is processed only if it provides sufficiently precise details concerning the facts and behaviours mentioned,
- is subject to a prior examination by the first recipient of the report to establish the admissibility of the facts or behaviour reported and the details provided.
The recipient ensures the protection of the data transmitted and takes care to preserve the anonymity of the whistleblower, as best as possible, during the processing of the report.
If admissible, all reports will be subject to a rigorous analysis and a detailed internal audit, while respecting the confidentiality and legitimate rights of the whistleblower.
The identity of the author of a selfless and in good faith report is preserved in compliance with the legal framework in force.
Paris 2024 sets up this report collecting device based on its legitimate interest in ensuring compliance with our Ethical Principles. To enable this processing, the data collected from you are those necessary to describe a report. Your identification data is only collected if you choose to make a non-anonymous report. Please consult our Privacy Policy to learn about your rights and how to enforce them.
In this regard, I acknowledge that I have read the above information, that I have considered the implications of my report and that I have verified the truthfulness of the facts observed and the comments made.
